Macy Gleason, MSN, APRN, NP-C is a Nurse Practitioner who will be supporting Dr. Vafek and Dr. Arcand five days a week, focusing on out foot and ankle patients. She graduated with honors from Purdue University Global earning a Master of Science in Nursing. She previously graduated from Grand Canyon University with her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and from Three Rivers Community College with her Associate’s in Nursing. She is a member of the professional organization American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
Macy offers over 14 years of healthcare experience with a variety of healthcare settings that includes med-surg, emergency department, and primary care. She is passionate about improving the day-to-day life of her patients. She has taken care of a variety of orthopedic patients within her healthcare career and has clinical interest in orthopedics.
Macy is a native of Connecticut. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and dogs. She likes to travel to Europe and be outdoors with her family.

Evaluate
Your Orthopedic PA will evaluate your pain and the surgical and non-surgical treatments available to help you decide the right course of treatment.

Treat
Your Orthopedic PA is trained to provide the latest treatments available and assist you with onsite injections, aspirations medication management, ordering images, wound care and more.

Collaborate
Depending on the specifics of your injury and your recovery plan, your PA will collaborate with the Surgical and Rehabilitation team and remain your point person for continued care.
