About
Meghan
Meghan graduated from Colby-Sawyer College in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training.
She practiced as a certified athletic trainer in both high school and collegiate settings, working with all athletic teams. She then went on to receive her Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant studies from Bryant University in 2023.
She works at Backus Hospital, providing orthopedic coverage for Orthopedic Partners as well as assisting in the operating room. She enjoys all fields of orthopedics, with a special interest in sports
medicine and orthopedic trauma.
In her free time, Meghan enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and trying new restaurants. She resides in Rhode Island with her husband and two rescue dogs, Calvin and Bodie.

Evaluate
Your Orthopedic PA will evaluate your pain and the surgical and non-surgical treatments available to help you decide the right course of treatment.

Treat
Your Orthopedic PA is trained to provide the latest treatments available and assist you with onsite injections, aspirations medication management, ordering images, wound care and more.

Collaborate
Depending on the specifics of your injury and your recovery plan, your PA will collaborate with the Surgical and Rehabilitation team and remain your point person for continued care.
