Background
Dr. Wei received his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in Saint Louis, MI. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He received the Stanley Chung Award for Excellence in Research, 1999 from Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Division of Orthopedic Surgery. He received the Henry Meyerding MD Annual Essay Award, 2nd place, 1999 from the American Fracture Association. He is a fellow in the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.
Dr. Wei is the team physician for , Mitchell College, and Mystic Schooners Collegiate Summer Baseball Team. He is also the team physician for East Lyme High School, and Waterford High School.
Dr. Wei was awarded Top Doctor by Connecticut Magazine along with Readers Choice Award by The Day in the Medical Specialist Category.
