About
Leigh

Meet Leigh Giffault, an exceptional board-certified OTR/L professional dedicated to providing top-tier patient-centered care with Orthopedic Partners. Leigh’s approach to her practice is nothing short of outstanding. She is adept at caring for individuals across all age groups, from infants to seniors, consistently achieving remarkable results.

Leigh has a diverse background, having worked in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinical outpatient facilities, and senior living and rehabilitation centers. Her extensive experience has honed her skills and allowed her to adapt seamlessly to the unique needs of each patient.

Education is a cornerstone of Leigh’s journey, as she recently completed her Occupational Therapy direct entry Master’s Program at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT, with flying colors. Graduating with honors in 2023, she also distinguished herself through her graduate capstone research project, a profound exploration of the “Effects of COVID-19 on Acute Care Occupational Therapists.”

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Leigh is a certified Ocean Lifeguard, demonstrating her commitment to safety and wellbeing. For seven summers, she has served the Weekapaug, RI Fire District and the Watch Hill Beach Association, ensuring the safety of beachgoers.

When she’s not in the healthcare realm or patrolling the shores, Leigh finds solace in surfing the waves, mastering the slopes on her skis, perfecting her golf swing, and conquering hiking trails. Her zest for adventure and active lifestyle mirror her dedication to her patients’ overall well-being.

Leigh calls Stonington, CT, home, where she resides with her triplet sisters and two beloved dogs, Charlie and Buddy. Her close-knit family and four-legged companions are a constant source of joy in her life.
