Background
Dr. Wagner graduated from Boston College, in Boston Massachusetts. He received his Medical Degree from Drexel University, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Following Medical School, he completed his Residency at UMass Medical Center, in Worcester, Massachusetts, including a year entirely devoted to spine research.
He completed a one-year Fellowship in Spinal Surgery, at Brown University Hospital, in Rhode Island. There, he trained with leaders in the field, and treated all types of spinal disorders, including degenerative conditions, deformity, and traumatic spinal injuries.
Dr. Wagner’s interests include the surgical treatment of cervical (neck) and lumbar (lower back) disorders, as well as general orthopedics.
Dr. Wagner belongs to multiple medical and orthopedic professional societies. He has given presentations on various orthopedic topics and spine surgery, and has authored numerous research articles relating to the spine.
Dr. Wagner performs both surgical & non-surgical treatments for the back, neck, & musculoskeletal injuries.
He is on staff at Lawrence & Memorial, Backus, and Windham Hospitals.
