Marissa Tourville,

Marissa is a Board Certified Physician Assistant who provides comprehensive orthopedic care. She enjoys helping patients seek solutions to their neck and spine pain through conservative as well as operative methods in order to help people return to the activities they love to do. She worked closely with Dr. Paonessa prior to his retirement and is now assisting Dr. Wagner in the operating room.

Marissa Tourville graduated from University of Hartford in 2018 with her Bachelors of Health Science.
She continued on to receive her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant in 2021. In 2021 she became a Certified Physician Assistant after completing her national board exam and doing years of direct patient care and even did a specialized clinical elective in orthopedic surgery. She enjoys treating neck and back pain and spine injuries to get people back to exercise and activity that improves their quality of life. When not working, Marissa enjoys all things outdoors such as boating, fishing, going on jetski, hiking, and more. Marissa resides in South Eastern Connecticut with her husband.

Treat
Your Orthopedic PA is trained to provide the latest treatments available and assist you with onsite injections, aspirations medication management, ordering images, wound care and more.

Collaborate
Depending on the specifics of your injury and your recovery plan, your PA will collaborate with the Surgical and Rehabilitation team and remain your point person for continued care.
